This boot camp is designed for new and developing HVAC technicians who need a real-world understanding of electricity used in the HVAC industry.
Students will learn the basic principles of electricity and how electrical components operate within residential and commercial HVAC systems. This class focuses on practical field knowledge that technicians can immediately apply on service calls and installations.
Understanding voltage, amperage, resistance, and continuity
High voltage vs low voltage systems
Reading basic wiring diagrams
Contactors, capacitors, relays, transformers, and sequencers
Proper meter usage and electrical safety

Common electrical failures in HVAC systems
